Numbers: Journey to the Promised Land Lesson 8
Lesson 8: Passing the Torch: New Seasons (Chapters 26-31)
As the Book of Numbers winds down, it is easy to see the signs of Yahweh passing the torch from one anointed leader, Moses, to his new man, Joshua. It is the end of an era, and the beginning of an entire new one! The manifest presence of the Lord in the pillar of cloud will soon disappear, along with the manna. Instead, Joshua will now be led by Yeshua, the captain of the hosts of heaven! Even their names both mean “salvation!” Behold, the old will pass and the new will come!
Soon the previous leader, Moses, who represented the law, will pass away. A new leader, Joshua, who represents the leadership of Yeshua, is waiting in the wings!
