Building Blocks Activity for Lesson 5 “Celebrate Your Wins”

(This activity was inspired by Pastor Kevin’s sermon. Find it on the church website at Canvas Church in Kalispell Montana, “Wins.”)

1. Begin by setting up a system to celebrate your wins daily. You will need a place to record your “wins”. The process of writing them out every day is important. Use a journal, note pad or notes on your phone. Whatever works for you.

2. Find rocks or some other object to use for a visual as you continue to pile up your wins.

3. Report your "wins" to someone periodically. Ask for them to keep you accountable to focus on your wins, not your losses.

4. Remember to celebrate the wins of others as well, by recording them and putting out a “rock on the porch” for them as well. It’s okay to mix all the piles!

5. Thank God daily for your wins. Before retiring each night, remember to thank God for that day’s wins!

6. Even if you lose some ground or get “stuck,” go back and celebrate the wins all over again if you need to!

7. Don’t grow weary in doing good… keep going! Push through until completion!
